The phrase ‘Hasbi Allah’, ‘Allah is sufficient for me’ is a shorter version of the dua recited tirelessly by the Palestinians reminding themselves of the fact that we as humans don’t need anyone or anything to survive and succeed as long as Allah is with us. Even in dire situations as such, Palestinians have an unshakeable faith in Him. The edges of the canvas read ‘Kun Faya Kun’ which means ‘Be and it is’ symbolising everything and everyone is under the control of His command. Everything that is happening on this Earth is by His will, and He can change that in a millisecond.
